A great way to let guests know of your upcoming wedding is through a "save the date" card. These cards are particularly important for destination weddings, dates that fall on a holiday weekend, or for weddings with a lot of out-of-town guests. They can be sent out anywhere from six months to one year before the wedding date. After these cards are sent out, a formal invitation with more wedding details will be sent out to guests approximately six to eight weeks before the wedding.
This save the date card for Kristina and Joshua is modern and simple, with a little pink and green flower detail on the top, and rounded corners. The card is made of a pearlescent white metallic cardstock, and paired with a silver metallic envelope. The one thing that I love about this card is that it is small, and fits in a 4BAR size (5 1/8" x 3 5/8") envelope, which is the same size as most RSVP envelopes. Because there's only a small amount of information to display, I thought a smaller card would be perfect.
